The Yellow Bike

Well, I sent it back to Bike Friday as a trade-in. So, i twill probably appear in their used list soon.

Bike Friday Pocket Rocket

This is a Bike Friday Pocket Rocket

I took this picture recently to show how great that yellow rack bag looks on this bike. Never did do any riding with that setup, but the bag will look great on whatever bike I put it on. The other attached bits are also removed from the bike -- computer, pump, pedals, saddle. You'll have your own, I'm sure.

The bike is only a bit over 2 years old. I don't baby my bikes, so it has a few scratches in the paint. But, it's in excellent order, ready to ride. This bike has a single chainring on the crank. Gearing consists of an 8-speed derailer setup on a 3-speed internally-geared hub. It's called the "Dual Drive" hub. The resulting gearing gives a lowest gear of around 21" and a top gear a bit over 100". The only modification I've made on the bike since I got it was to replace the brake/shift levers with Shimano 105. Those are virtually new.

Size -- I'm around 5' 9" and ride a 56 cm regular bike. The Bike Friday has quite a bit of adjustability and thefolks in Eugene can make new stems to accomodate differences up to a point.

The best place to get more info about these bikes is the Bike Friday website, http://bikefriday.com
